K-3 Visa

K-3 Visa is a nonimmigrant visa for the spouse of a U.S. citizen. This visa aims to shorten the physical separation between the foreign spouse and the U.S. citizen by allowing the spouse to enter the U.S. while waiting for the immigrant visa process. The K-3 visa holder can apply for adjustment of status to a permanent resident once in the U.S. The K-3 visa requires filing a Petition for Alien Relative (Form I-130) and a Petition for Alien Fiancé(e) (Form I-129F).
