The Common Travel Area (CTA) is an agreement between two or more countries aimed at facilitating the movement of citizens and goods within the designated area. Under this concept, each participating party has rights and obligations at the borders of other participants. This can have economic, social, or cultural significance.
The Common Travel Area between Ireland and the United Kingdom serves as the ideal reference for understanding this concept.
